Limbs Without a Purpose and a Head Gone Mostly Still (2020-2022)

Limbs Without a Purpose and a Head Gone Mostly Still (2022)

A time of isolation; a time of mundanity. A once purposeful body finds itself redundant in the forced disconnect from self and community. This separation was difficult for many of us to come to terms with, and, after some time, our bodies became useless vessels with nowhere to go and nothing to be. "Limbs without a purpose and a head gone mostly still" explores this feeling of dislocation over the span of the past two years, having itself been reworked dozens of times. Faces without defined features sit in front of the viewer, serving as a reflection of individual experiences through isolation.
